For those of us not lucky enough to speak French, I would have appreciated subtitles in English in order to more fully understand the substrate of this exhibition….
Man! I don't see one non-artistic spot or dress piece. That was so much creativity at one place. Incredible! Congratulations to Dior for pulling such a massive fit. Thoroughly enjoyed.
I want to be a fashion designer, and watching this is making me want to cry. It's beyond beautiful. Fashion is art, that is not painted on a canvas. Designers have the power to expresswhatever they want through their dresses. Whenerver I think my ideas are bizarre I see even bizarre but equally creative dress, and that's what makes me move forward. I know I would never become one, considering I have to financial support. But as long as I can keep on sketching my ideas on paper it's more than enough.
Just a thought about 1947…Our boys who grew up in the Great Depression, and then lucky enough to survive WW2, wanted to see feminine women when life started to return to normal. No? Explain to the rest of us the following names: Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Jayne Mansfield, Diana Dors…and every western woman, in every level of society wore a version of Christian’s “New look” from 1948-1962. All level of retail copied Dior’s two original silhouettes, THAT was what (Western) women wore. 🤗
This is a spectacular watch, aside from the amazing works of arts that the clothes are, the amount of work and skills from so many talented and passionate people blew me away. I was so carried away watching it, loved it. Thank you 🙏🏽

Oui je travail la culture
I liked the 1947 dress. It’s older than me but has weathered the times much better.

We are people of art will never forget that 10 years of work of the genius Galliano was stolen from us. Blackening his reputation.
Thanks so much for sharing

А реплика – " красотой нужно делиться", вызвала прекрасные эмоции!

都是老梗,了無新意!傻瓜才買!
Dior Galliano was the period of change and rebellions, he for me did the impossible possible.
Christian Dior’s new look was designed to use as much fabric as possible. The mills needed to rev up for domestic sales instead of military uniforms.
Wonderful WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM CHRISTIAN DIOR♥️🤗🥰👍
Absolutely fabulous! Dior is one of my favs, from fashion to perfume.
Designers partnering with museums to display their collection is a GREAT idea!
😘🇨🇵
Absolutely sublime
I think this video is one of the most beautiful documentaries.
