I agree with your mother that you will make a good doctor. Having said that, it would seem that you will be great at whatever you choose to do. Congratulations on a great Olympics performance. You should make a lot of money marketing yourself. I am impressed more than I can say. However, I am not sure women were so put down in skiing. A lot of the women where I lived were very athletic. A lot skied and skied well. I do remember when after a race we skied the trees at Northstar. I don't remember any women coming along. I don't think we tried to exclude them. They might have just thought it was too risky??? Generally only the top guys came along. I remember one guy had his market racing binding set to 14 for the race and while skiing the trees. I thought he was a bit nuts to have them set that way for skiing the trees. I think Alberto Tomba only set his bindings to 8 while he was racing. Who knows about some things???
