離村子不遠的怒江邊上有一大片酸角林，是那種酸味濃個頭紮實的老品種酸角，樹上葉子都掉光了，但樹上還滿是一串串的酸角。我靠著身體重力搖了一背簍回來，做了奶奶愛吃的酸角糕，小豪愛吃的酸角糖，還有爺爺的酸角泡酒，還有一罐酸角醋，是真夠吃一年了。這個醋怎麼做都好吃，天氣熱了，我就拌了個胡辣椒雞腳，真的出奇的好吃～ ※Click “cc” on the lower right menu to choose your subtitle language. There’s a forest of tamarind trees along Salween River not far from our village. They bear very sour and big fruits. Though the leaves all fell down, there are lots of tamarind fruits on the tree. I shook some fruits down and gathered a full basket of them. I made some tamarind fruit cakes for grandma, tamarind fruit candies for Ahao, tamarind fruit wine for grandpa and a jar of tamarind fruit vinegar that can last for a whole year. The vinegar can be eaten in many ways.
