Waking up this morning, I found so many discussions below my “Walnuts” video and I welcomed it. Though I have to say that it is a very common practice in my hometown (Yunnan, China) to enjoying roasted meat wrapped in lettuce. Usually , we would place some lettuce at the bottom of the plate for merely decorative purpose or to go with greasy food. It brings a more diverse texture and eases much of the greasiness. Many other places in the world also like to eat lettuce with other food .
There are so many cooking methods in this world, with millions of ingredient combinations as well. And that is what makes us so fascinated about food. I've been keen to share the tasty dishes and snacks from my hometown. As always, I believe in the magical power and happiness of tasty food, and I hope that my videos can bring some joy to you as well.

내가 중국의 전통문화를 한국의 전통문화라고 하면 참! 부끄러울 것 같다. 중국은 오랜 역사 수 많은 사상 그리고 수 많은 민족으로 이루어진 다양한 문화를 가진 나라이기에 자신들의 위대한 문화를 소개하기에도 바쁠 터인데 왜 남의 나라 문화를 탐내는가? 현재의 중국은 사람은 많고 인재는 없는 나라인가? 한자는 중국에서 만들어 졌으며 위대한 사상가 중 한 분인 공자는 중국사람이다.
