I wanted to make sweet wine, but I had to buy it already made in a jar. I'm avoiding fat in my food, so I'm working on learning steamed dishes. So I have been making cold chicken steamed in glutinous rice wine. It smells wonderful, and tastes very good. I'm using Fuchsia Dunlop's cookbooks, and just shopping randomly in the Chinese grocery store. What was in the soup-like mixture besides wine and eggs? And little knobs of dough.
