This was 9 minutes too long when all she had to say was put a pony tail on the bootm and make a French braid on the top rest of the hair with some wavy side bangs.

Annoyed! You assume everyone knows how to do a French braid… its definitely not easy and nearly impossible to do it on your own hair… its a beautiful style so it's a shame it's not for the beginner.it has just left me more frustrated and disappointed than I was before I watched the video.

If I was to do this style on someone who has naturally curly but frizzy hair would I need to straighten it all out first?

The model is exactly how I imagined Fleur Delacour from the Harry Potter series, just with short hair. That is to say, super pretty! This updo is also great. I have curly hair that always gets flattened, stretched out, and frizzy overnight, even with a satin pillowcase. So I'm always looking for updos to wear on non-wash days.

I know it's an updo that's supposed to be for fancy occasions but I'm planning on using this throughout the summer when I don't want to just do a bun 😀 it looks so nice and secure so I think I will feel good and it will stay while I chase my kids around all day, lol. Thank you for this!

While the style is pretty, the camera didn't zoom in enough on how to do a French braid. I got lost after the 1st few cross overs because I can't see how she did it. Looks too difficult to do alone also. And the idea of buying an expensive hot comb to do this is foolish. You would probably only use the hot comb a few times. I dont think this style is easy to do on yourself & it's expensive to buy the hot comb. Not practical.
