she cooked it in a soup maker that boils it and blends it I have no idea where to get but I an alternative would be to blend the mixture until smooth then strain it into a pot then bring it up to a boil then simmer it for about 25 min. Rock candy is referring to Chinese rock sugar. and the thing she shredded is called snow fungus u can pick it up from any Asian groceries I hope that this helped.
